The sponge knit is so soft my son actually leaves it on without a fight, which never happens. The buttons at the shoulder make getting it over his head way easier, and the ribbed cuffs keep the sleeves from sliding down. Sized up to 2Y for a roomier fit and it's perfect.
Bought the 18M for my daughter and the buttons at the shoulder make getting it over her head so much easier. The sponge knit has a nice weight to it without being bulky, and the ribbed cuffs actually stay put instead of stretching out.
This knit is incredibly soft—my toddler actually keeps reaching for it. The classic fit is perfect for layering, and the ribbed cuffs hold their shape well after washing.
